Believers, help yourselves (in your affairs) through patience and prayer; God is with those who have patience. 153 And do not utter regarding those who are slain in Allah's cause as “dead”; in fact they are alive, but it is you who are unaware. 154 And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). 155 who, in adversity say: 'We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return' 156 These! on them shall be benedictions from their Lord and His mercy, and these! they are the rightly guided. 157 ۞ Surely the Safa and the Marwa are among the signs appointed by Allah; so whoever makes a pilgrimage to the House or pays a visit (to it), there is no blame on him if he goes round them both; and whoever does good spontaneously, then surely Allah is Grateful, Knowing. 158 They who conceal Our signs and the guidance We have sent them and have made clear in the Book, are condemned of God and are condemned by those who are worthy of condemning. 159 save such as repent and make amends, and show clearly -- towards them I shall turn; I turn, All-compassionate. 160 But those who disbelieve, and die disbelieving shall incur the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. 161 Their punishment shall not be lightened, nor shall they be reprieved. 162 And your god is one God. There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. 163
