"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 They will be told: "Enter it in peace and security." 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I alone am the Forgiving, the Merciful One, 49 And that My doom is the dolorous doom. 50 And tell them of Abraham's guests, 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They said, “We have given you true tidings, therefore do not lose hope.” 55 He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones? 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 "(All) except the family of Lout (Lot). Them all we are surely going to save (from destruction). 59 except his wife who is doomed to be left behind." 60
