Al-Hijjr 4 of 6
Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on thrones (of dignity). 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that indeed the punishment of Mine is a painful punishment. 50 Tell them about Abraham's guests: 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 They said: "Do not feel afraid, for we give you the good news of a wise boy." 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 He said: what is your errand, sent ones? 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
