So when the envoys came to the household of Lot, 61 he said, "You seem to be strangers". 62 They said: Nay, but we bring thee that concerning which they keep disputing, 63 "Yet we bring to you the truth, and we are truthful. 64 So set forth, thou with thy family, in a watch of the night, and follow after the backs of them, and let not any one of you turn round; and depart unto the place you are commanded.' 65 And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning. 66 And the people of the city came rejoicing. (* To the house of Prophet Lut.) 67 He said, 'These are my guests; put me not to shame, 68 And keep your duty to Allah, and shame me not! 69 "Did we not restrain you," they said, "from (entertaining) creatures from the outside world?" 70 Lot said, "These are my daughters if you want them." 71 Verily, by your life (O Muhammad SAW), in their wild intoxication, they were wandering blindly. 72 So they were seized by the mighty blast at break of day; 73 We turned the town upside-down and showered on them lumps of baked clay. 74 Herein are really signs for those who discern. 75 for, behold, those [towns] stood by a road that still exists. 76 Surely! Therein is indeed a sign for the believers. 77 And the people of Aykah were also wrong-doers. 78 On them, too, We took vengeance, and they are both on a clear roadway. 79

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
