And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers. 80 And We gave them Our signs, and they remained averse to them. 81 And they hewed houses in the mountains in security. 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 And all that they had done (for security) availed them nothing. 84 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with truth, and the Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammad SAW), their faults with gracious forgiveness. [This was before the ordainment of Jihad holy fighting in Allah's Cause]. 85 Your Lord is certainly the All-knowing Creator. 86 And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an. 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 And say thou: verily I! I am a plain warner. 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 and also divided the Quran believing in some parts and rejecting others. 91 Therefore, by your Lord, We shall question every one of them. 92 For all their deeds. 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 Surely We will suffice you against the scoffers 95 even against those who set up with God another god. Certainly they will soon know! 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 Glorify and praise your Lord and be with those who prostrate themselves before God. 98 And serve thy Lord until there come unto thee the Hour that is Certain. 99
