And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 Out of the mountains did they hew (their) edifices, (feeling themselves) secure. 82 So the rumbling overtook them in the morning; 83 Therefore their earnings did not in the least benefit them. 84 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. 85 Indeed your Lord only is the Great Creator, the All Knowing. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an. 87 Do not stretch your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy, nor sorrow for them, and lower your wing to the believers. 88 Say, "Indeed, I am simply one who warns." 89 Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators 90 and who have broken the Scripture into fragments -- 91 So by your Lord, We will surely question them all 92 about what they did. 93 Proclaim then, what you are commanded and turn away from the unbelievers. 94 Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers 95 and believe other things to be equal to God. They will soon know the truth. 96 And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say; 97 Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance. 98 And worship thy Lord until there cometh unto thee the certainty. 99
