Abraham was (equal to) a nation, obedient to Allah, of pure faith and was not among the idolaters, 120 Grateful for His favours: He chose him and guided him to a straight path. 121 And gave him what is good in the world, and in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous and the good. 122 And afterward We inspired thee (Muhammad, saying): Follow the religion of Abraham, as one by nature upright. He was not of the idolaters. 123 The sabbath was only appointed for those who differed over it. And indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ. 124 Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and fair exhortation and reason with them in a way that is best. Your Lord knows best those who have strayed away from His path, and He knows best those who are rightly guided. 125 And if you chastise, chastise even as you have been chastised; and yet assuredly if you are patient, better it is for those patient. 126 Endure with patience; truly, your patience is possible only with the help of God. Do not grieve for them, or feel distressed because of their plottings, 127 Lo! Allah is with those who keep their duty unto Him and those who are doers of good. 128
