(And recount to them the story of Moses) when Moses said to his servant: "I will journey on until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I may march on for ages." 60 Then, when they reached their meeting, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, burrowing. 61 So when they had passed further on (beyond that fixed place), Musa (Moses) said to his boy-servant: "Bring us our morning meal; truly, we have suffered much fatigue in this, our journey." 62 He said: Did you see when we took refuge on the rock then I forgot the fish, and nothing made me forget to speak of it but the Shaitan, and it took its way into the river; what a wonder! 63 Moses said: "That was what we were seeking after:" So they went back on their footsteps, following (the path they had come). 64 Then the twain found a bondman from Our bondmen, him We had vouchsafed a mercy from before Us, and him We had taught from Our presence a knowledge. 65 Moses said to him: 'May I follow you so that you can teach me of that you have learned of righteousness' 66 He answered: "You will surely not be able to bear with me. 67 And how shouldst thou bear patiently that thou hast never encompassed in thy knowledge?' 68 Said Moosa, “Allah willing, you will soon find me patient and I will not do anything against your instructions.” 69 He said, “Therefore if you stay with me, do not ask me about anything until I myself mention it to you.” 70
