Man says, 'What, when I am dead shall I then be brought forth alive?' 66 But does man not bear in mind that We have created him aforetime out of nothing? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 Then We shall deliver those that were godfearing; and the evildoers We shall leave there, hobbling on their knees. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 And many a generation We did destroy before them, who exceeded them in wealth and pomp! 74 Proclaim, “For one in error so the Most Gracious may give him respite; to the extent that when they see the thing which they are promised either the punishment or the Last Day; so then they will come to know for whom is the evil rank and whose army is weak.” 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Hath he looked unto the Unseen, or hath he taken of the Compassionate a covenant? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 And We will inherit of him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) aliha (gods) besides Allah, that they might give them honour, power and glory (and also protect them from Allah's Punishment etc.). 81 By no means! anon they shall deny their worship, and become unto them an adversary. 82

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
