The human being says, "Shall I be brought to life again after I will die?" 66 Doth not man remember that We created him before, when he was naught? 67 So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; 68 Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 And when Our manifest revelations are rehearsed unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: which of the two portions is better in station and goodlier in company? 73 And how many of the generations have We destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance! 74 Proclaim, “For one in error – so the Most Gracious may give him respite; to the extent that when they see the thing which they are promised – either the punishment or the Last Day; so then they will come to know for whom is the evil rank and whose army is weak.” 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Have you seen him who denies the truth in Our revelations and says, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 And We will inherit of him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 And they have taken to them other gods apart from God, that they might be for them a might. 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
