And says man: What! when I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive? 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 We alone know who deserves most to be burned therein. 70 There is not one of you but shall pass by Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil. 71 Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: "As for him who lives in error, may the Most Gracious lengthen the span of his life! [And let them say whatever they say until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned - whether it be suffering [in this world] or [at the coming of] the Last Hour - for then they will understand which [of the two kinds of man] was worse in station and weaker in resources! 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 Never; We shall now record what he says and give him a prolonged punishment. 79 and divest him of all that he is [now] speaking of: for [on Judgment Day] he will appear before Us in a lonely state. 80 And they have taken gods besides Allah, that they should be to them a source of strength; 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
