Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
