See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
