Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 They have said that the Beneficent God has given birth to a son. 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 How numerous are the peoples that We destroyed before them! Do you now perceive any one of them, or hear even their whisper? 98
