Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord. 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
