۞ And certainly We gave to Ibrahim his rectitude before, and We knew him fully well. 51 When he said to his father and his people: "What are these images, to which you are devoted?" 52 They said:"We found our fathers worshipping them." 53 Abraham said, "Indeed, you and your fathers have been clearly misguided." 54 They said, “Have you brought the Truth to us, or are you just making fun?” 55 He said: "Nay, but your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth which He created and to that I bear witness before you. 56 Abraham said to himself, "By God! I will devise a plan against their idols when they are away." 57 So he broke them into fragments, all but a great one they had, for haply they would return to it. 58 They said: Who hath done this to our gods? Surely it must be some evil-doer. 59 They said: "We heard a youth talk about them. He is called Abraham." 60 "Bring him before the people," they said, "that they may bear witness." 61 "Did you do this to our gods, O Abraham?" they enquired. 62 He answered, "Rather this biggest one of them did it. Ask them, if they can speak." 63 So they turned towards their own selves and (inwardly) said, “Indeed you yourselves are unjust.” 64 Then they reversed themselves, [saying], "You have already known that these do not speak!" 65 He said: What! do you then serve besides Allah what brings you not any benefit at all, nor does it harm you? 66 Uff to you and to what you worship instead of Allah. Then will you not use reason?" 67 They said: "Burn him, and come to the support of your gods, if you are going to do anything." 68 Allah said, "O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham." 69 And they wished to set a snare for him, but We made them the greater losers. 70 We took Abraham and Lot safely to the land in which We had sent blessings to the worlds. 71 And We gave him Isaac and Jacob in addition, and all [of them] We made righteous. 72 We appointed them as leaders to guide the people through Our command and sent them revelation to strive for good deeds, worship their Lord, and pay religious tax. Both of them were Our worshipping servants. 73 To Lot We gave wisdom and knowledge and delivered him from the city which practiced abomination. They were indeed a wicked people. 74 And We admitted him to Our Mercy: for he was one of the Righteous. 75

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
