Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. 94 There is a ban upon any city that We have destroyed; they shall not return 95 until Gog and Magog are let loose to rush down from the hills. 96 the while the true promise [of resurrection] draws close [to its fulfillment]. But then, lo! the eyes of those who [in their lifetime] were bent on denying the truth will stare in horror, [and they will exclaim:] "Oh, woe unto us! We were indeed heedless of this [promise of resurrection]! - nay, we were [bent on] doing evil!" 97 Verily ye, (unbelievers), and the (false) gods that ye worship besides Allah, are (but) fuel for Hell! to it will ye (surely) come! 98 Had these [false deities] been [actual] gods, they would not have come to it, but all are eternal therein. 99 They will bray in it and not be able to hear anything in it. 100 Indeed those to whom Our promise of goodness has been made, have been kept far away from hell. 101 They shall not hear even a whisper of it, and they shall live for ever in the delights which they had desired. 102 The Great Terror will bring them no grief: but the angels will meet them (with mutual greetings): "This is your Day,- (the Day) that ye were promised." 103 The day when We shall roll up the heavens as the recording angel rolls up the register of deeds; We shall make him similar to Our making him the first time; this is a promise upon Us; We certainly have to do it. 104 And indeed We wrote, after the reminder in the Zaboor that, “My virtuous bondmen will inherit the earth.” 105 Surely, in this is a proclamation to a worshiping nation. 106 We sent thee not save as a mercy for the peoples. 107 Say: "It is revealed to me that your God is only One God. Will you, then, submit to Him?" 108 But if they are averse, then say: I have warned you all alike, although I know not whether nigh or far is that which ye are promised. 109 Indeed He knows what you say loudly and what you hide. 110 Nor do I know whether it may mean a trial for you and a short reprieve." 111 Say: "O my Lord! judge Thou in truth!" "Our Lord Most Gracious is the One Whose assistance should be sought against the blasphemies ye utter!" 112
