Have you not seen how Allah has subjected to you all that is in the earth, and the vessels that sail in the sea by His command, and it is He Who holds back the sky that it may not fall on earth except by His leave? Surely Allah is Most Gentle, Ever Compassionate to people. 65 And it is He Who gave you life, then will cause you to die, and will then revive you; indeed man is very ungrateful. 66 For each nation We have made the rules of worship for them to follow – so never should they quarrel with you in this matter – and call them towards your Lord; indeed you are upon the Straight Path. 67 And if they wrangle with thee, say: Allah is Best Aware of what ye do. 68 Allah will judge between you on the Day of Judgment concerning that wherein ye have been differing. 69 Didst thou not know that God knows all that is in heaven and earth? Surely that is in a Book; surely that for God is an easy matter. 70 And they serve besides Allah that for which He has not sent any authority, and that of which they have no knowledge; and for the unjust there shall be no helper. 71 As it is, whenever Our messages are conveyed unto them in all their clarity, thou canst perceive utter repugnance on the faces of those who are bent on denying the truth: they would almost assault those who convey Our messages unto them! Say: "Shall I, then, tell you of something worse than what you feel at present? It is the fire [of the hereafter] that God has promised to those who are bent on denying the truth: and how vile a journey's end!" 72
