O YOU APOSTLES! Partake of the good things of life, and do righteous deeds: verily, I have full knowledge of all that you do. 51 Your religion is but one religion -- and I am your only Lord, therefore, fear Me. 52 But they cut off their religion among themselves into sects, each part rejoicing in that which is with them. 53 Therefore leave them in their overwhelming ignorance till 54 Do they think that by what We aid them with of wealth and children, 55 have no other purpose except to help them in acquiring material benefits? No indeed. But they do not understand. 56 Surely those who stand in awe for fear of their Lord, 57 and those who believe in the signs of their Lord 58 and do not ascribe partners to Him; 59 and who give whatever they [have to] give with their hearts trembling at the thought that unto their Sustainer they must return: 60 These hasten to good things and they are foremost in (attaining) them. 61 And we task not any soul beyond its scope, and with Us is a Record which speaketh the truth, and they will not be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are covered (blind) from understanding this (the Quran), and they have other (evil) deeds, besides, which they are doing. 63 until We seize with Our chastisement those of them that are given to luxuriant ways. They will then begin to groan. 64 Invoke not loudly this day! Certainly, you shall not be helped by Us. 65 Indeed My Verses used to be recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels (denying them, and with hatred to listen to them). 66 In arrogance; talking nonsense about the Quran, and left him like one telling fables by night. 67 Have they not pondered the saying, or came there upon them that which came not upon their fathers, the ancients? 68 Or is it that they did not recognize their Messenger (Muhammad SAW) so they deny him? 69 Or, say they: in him is madness? O Aye he brought them the truth, and most of them to the truth are averse. 70 Had the truth followed their fancies, the heavens, the earth, and all who live in them would have surely been corrupted. No, We brought them their Remembrance; but from their Remembrance they turn away. 71 Or is it that you ask them a recompense? But the recompense of your Lord is best, and He is the best of those who provide sustenance. 72 And verily thou! thou callest them unto a Path straight. 73 But those who do not believe in the Hereafter have indeed deviated from that path. 74 ۞ Even if We were to grant them mercy and rescue them from hardship, they would still blindly persist in their rebellion. 75 We seized them with the punishment, but they did not surrender to their Lord, nor will they humble themselves 76 until, when We open against them a door of terrible chastisement, lo, they are sore confounded at it. 77
