The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the snorting chargers, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
