And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 He it is who has multiplied you on the earth and to Him you shall all be gathered: 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of that which said the men of old; 81 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 82 We and our fathers were promised this before; it is nothing but ancient lore!" 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 They will surely say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not, then, fear (Allah)?" 87 Say: 'In whose hand is the dominion of everything, protecting and Himself unprotected, if you have knowledge?' 88 They will reply spontaneously, "It is God." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
