Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 Indeed, We are able to show you that which We promised them. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 Lord, deliver us from Hell. Then, if we revert again, we shall definitely be wrongdoers." 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
