The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
