۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 they have enraged us, 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 Then drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
