۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
