۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
