۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 But We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
