Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
