The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
