Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
