The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
