1/4 Hizb 38
< random >
The companions of the thicket denied the messengers 176 When Shu'aib (Shuaib) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah (and obey Him)? 177 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 178 So keep your duty to Allah and obey me. 179 And I ask of you no hire therefor; and my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 180 ۞ "Give just measure, and cause no loss (to others by fraud). 181 Weigh with correct scales: 182 and do not defraud people in their property or spread evil in the land. 183 but be conscious of Him who has created you, just as [He created] those countless generations of old!" 184 They said: "You are no more than one of those who have been bewitched, 185 “You are just a human like us, and indeed we consider you a liar.” 186 Therefore cause a portion of the heaven to come down upon us, if you are one of the truthful. 187 He said, “My Lord is Well Aware of what you do.” 188 But they rejected him. Then the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom seized them, and that was the Penalty of a Great Day. 189 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 190 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 191

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
