And this Qur'an is a revelation from the Lord of all the worlds, 192 Which the trustworthy Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] has brought down; 193 To communicate to your heart that you may be a warner 194 In the perspicuous Arabic tongue. 195 And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. 196 Is it not a sign unto them that the learned among the Children of Isra'il know it? 197 And even if We had revealed it to one among the foreigners 198 And he had recited it to them [perfectly], they would [still] not have been believers in it. 199 We have thus caused denial of truth to enter into the hearts of the sinners: 200 they will not believe in it until they see the grievous punishment. 201 It shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 Then they will say: Shall we be respited? 203 Do they, then, [really] wish that Our chastisement be hastened on? 204 Tell Me, if We do let them enjoy for years, 205 And then what they were promised comes upon them, 206 of what avail will be the provisions of life which they have been granted to enjoy? 207 And never did We destroy a township which did not have Heralds of warning, - 208 We have never been unjust to anyone. 209 The devils did not bring it down. 210 They are not worthy of it, nor have they power. 211 indeed they are debarred from overhearing it. 212 So do not call any other god beside Allah lest you become of those who will be punished, 213 And warn thy tribe of near kindred, 214 And take those believers under your wing who follow you. 215 And if they disobey thee, say thou: verily I am quit of that which ye work. 216 And put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,- 217 who sees thee when thou standest [alone,] 218 and observes your movements among those who prostrate themselves. 219 Surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom do the devils descend? 221 They descend upon all sinful self-deceivers 222 They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets - it is the seduced who follow them. 224 Observest thou not, that they wander about every vale. 225 and say things which they do not act upon, 226 Save those who believed and worked righteous works and remembered Allah much, and vindicated themselves after they had been wronged. And anon those who do wrong shall come to know with what a translating they shall be translated. 227
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Poets (Alshu'araa'). Sent down in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

Click or tap on "random" to go to any random page. Click or tap the triangle to the left of "random" to go to a random page before the current page, or the triangle to the right to go to a random page after the current page. Using these features of ColorfulQuran.com, you can use the right triangle or arrowhead to skim through the entire Holy Book from the first Surah, The Key (Al-Fatihah), to the last, The People (An-Nas), in a few minutes while stopping at random pages in between. This will make your readings cluster more on Juz Amma's short surahs at the end of the Quran. You can also do the same in reverse order using the left triangle or arrowhead, which will cluster your readings more at the beginning of the Holy Quran.
