Will you not understand? What, is he to whom We have promised a fair promise, and he receives it, like him to whom We have given the enjoyment of the present life, then he on the Resurrection Day shall be of those that are arraigned? 61 On the day when He will call unto them and say: Where are My partners whom ye imagined? 62 Those upon whom the word will have come into effect will say, "Our Lord, these are the ones we led to error. We led them to error just as we were in error. We declare our disassociation [from them] to You. They did not used to worship us." 63 It will be said to them: 'Call on your associates' And they will call on them, but they will not respond to them, and they shall see the punishment if only they had been guided. 64 And on the day when He shall call them and say: What was the answer you gave to the apostles? 65 And on that Day the news will be blinded for them, and they will not ask each other. 66 But as for him who shall repent and believe and do right, he haply may be one of the successful. 67 And your Lord creates whatever He wills, and chooses; they do not have any power to choose; Purity and Supremacy are to Allah above their ascribing partners (to Him). 68 And thy Lord knows all that their hearts conceal and all that they reveal. 69 He is God. There is no god but He. His alone is praise first and last, and His the judgement, and to Him will you be brought back in the end. 70 Say: "Just think, if God were to cover you up with night for ever until the Day of Doom, what other god apart from God will give you light? Why do you not pay heed?" 71 Say: "Have you ever considered [this]: If God had willed that there should always be daylight about you, without break, until the Day of Resurrection - is there any deity other than God that could bring you [the darkness of] night, wherein you might rest? Will you not, then, see [the truth]?" 72 Of His mercy He has appointed for you night and day, for you to repose in and seek after His bounty, that haply you will be thankful.' 73 God will call the unbelievers on the Day of Judgment and ask them, "Where are your idols in which you had faith? 74 And We shall draw out from every nation a witness, and say, 'Produce your proof!' Then will they know that Truth is God's, and there shall go astray from them that they were forging. 75
