Al-Ankaboot 7 of 7
The present life is nothing but sport and amusement. The true life is in the Abode of the Hereafter; if only they knew. 64 When they embark upon ships, they call to Allah making their religion sincerely His; but when He brings them safe to the land, they associate others with Him 65 So that they become ingrate for that which We have vouchsafed unto them, and that they enjoy themselves; but presently they shall know. 66 Have they not seen that We have made (Makkah) a sanctuary secure, and that men are being snatched away from all around them? Then do they believe in Batil (falsehood - polytheism, idols and all deities other than Allah), and deny (become ingrate for) the Graces of Allah? 67 And who does greater evil than he who forges against God a lie, or cries lies to the truth when it comes to him? What, is there not in Gehenna a lodging for the unbelievers? 68 But those who struggle in Our cause, surely We shall guide them in Our ways; and God is with the good-doers. 69
