Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 On the Straight Path. 4 (This is) a Revelation sent down by the AllMighty, the Most Merciful, 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
