Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
YA SIN. 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 upon the straight path. 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
