Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 On a straight path, 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
