This is what Ar-Rahman had promised, and whose truth the apostles had affirmed. 52 It would be but a single blast of the trumpet, and they would all be arraigned before Us. 53 No soul will be in the least bit wronged on that Day and no one will receive any recompense other than what he deserves for his deeds. 54 Lo! those who merit paradise this day are happily employed, 55 They and their spouses - in shade, reclining on adorned couches. 56 Theirs shall be fruit therein and theirs shall be whatsoever they ask for. 57 "Peace!" - a word (of salutation) from a Lord Most Merciful! 58 (And the guilty will be told:) "O sinners, separate yourselves this day. 59 ۞ Did I not charge you, O children of Adam! that you should not serve the Shaitan? Surely he is your open enemy, 60 But that ye worship Me? That was the right path. 61 Still, he misguided a whole throng of you. Did you have no sense? 62 This, then is Gehenna (Hell), that which you were promised. 63 Enter into it this day because you disbelieved. 64 Today We set a seal on their mouths, and their hands speak to Us, and their feet bear witness as to what they have been earning. 65 If We so willed, We would have put out their eyes, then they would rush to see the Way, but how would they be able to see? 66 We could have turned them into other creatures on the spot had We wanted and they would not have been able to precede or turn back. 67
