1/4 Hizb 45

The trumpet shall be sounded, when behold! from the sepulchres (men) will rush forth to their Lord! 51 They will say, "Woe to us! Who has raised us up from our graves? This is what the Beneficent God has promised. The Messengers have also spoke the truth". 52 It is but one Shout, and behold them brought together before Us! 53 This day no soul is wronged in aught; nor are ye requited aught save what ye used to do. 54 Surely the dwellers of the garden shall on that day be in an occupation quite happy. 55 They and their wives are in shades, reclining on thrones. 56 They will have therein fruits (of all kinds) and all that they ask for. 57 Peace shall be the word from the Lord Merciful. 58 "But stand aside today, O you who were lost in sin! 59 ۞ Did I not ordain for you, O Children of Adam, that you should not worship Shaitan (Satan). Verily, he is a plain enemy to you. 60 but to worship Me? Surely, that is a straight path. 61 "But he did lead astray a great multitude of you. Did ye not, then, understand? 62 "This, then, is the hell of which you were warned again and again: 63 endure it today as an outcome of your persistent denial of the truth!" 64 Today We shall seal up their mouths and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to their misdeeds. 65 NOW HAD IT BEEN Our will [that men should not be able to discern between right and wrong,] We could surely have deprived them of their sight, so that they would stray forever from the [right] way: for how could they have had insight [into what is true]? 66 If it had been Our will, We could have paralysed them where they stood, so that they would not be able to go forward or turn back. 67

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
