The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I swear by (the angels) who stand in ranks, 1 and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint, 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings. 5 He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars, 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay. 11 Nay! you wonder while they mock, 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing. 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 They will say: "Woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense!" 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
