And We delivered the Children of Israel from the shameful doom; 30 from Pharaoh; surely he was a high One, of the prodigals; 31 And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds. 32 And sent them tokens to bring out the best in them. 33 Yet these say: 34 "That [which is ahead of us] is but our first [and only] death, and we shall not be raised to life again. 35 "Then bring back our fore-fathers, if you speak the truth!" 36 Are they, then, better than the people of Tubba and those before them, whom We destroyed because they were truly lost in [the same] sin? 37 And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play. 38 We created them not save with a purpose but most of them know not. 39 Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all - 40 The Day when no protector can avail his client in aught, and no help can they receive, 41 Except those [believers] on whom Allah has mercy. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 42
