1/2 Hizb 45
< random >
۞ (And it is said unto the angels): Assemble those who did wrong, together with their wives and what they used to worship 22 Beside Allah, and lead them on to the path of the Flaming Fire. 23 And stop them, for they shall be questioned: 24 How is it that you are not helping one another? 25 Nay, but that Day they shall surrender, 26 They will turn upon one another, and question one another. 27 These say, 'Why, you of old would come to us from the right hand.' 28 The oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers, 29 We had no authority over you, but you were an insolent nation. 30 Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom). 31 So then, [if it be true that] we have caused you to err grievously - behold, we ourselves had been lost in grievous error!" 32 So, they will become partners in punishment. 33 That is how We deal with sinners. 34 for, behold, whenever they were told, "There is no deity save God," they would glory in their arrogance 35 And they said: are we going to abandon our gods on account of a poet distracted? 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 Verily ye are going to taste a torment afflictive. 38 “And you will not be compensated except for your deeds.” 39 But the sincere servants of God 40 will have their determined sustenance 41 fruits. And they are receivers of generosity 42 in gardens of bliss, 43 Facing one another on thrones, 44 With cups from a flowing stream being passed around, 45 White, delicious to the drinkers, 46 no headiness will be in it, and they will not get drunk thereon. 47 and with them wide-eyed maidens restraining their glances 48 As if they were (delicate) eggs closely guarded. 49 And they will all turn to one another, asking each other [about their past lives]. 50 One of them will start the talk and say: "I had an intimate companion (on the earth), 51 Who used to say: "Are you among those who believe (in resurrection after death). 52 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, are we indeed going to be requited? 53 He shall say: Will you look on? 54 Then he will look down and see him in the midst of the Flaming Fire. 55 He will say to his friend in hell, "By God, you almost destroyed me. 56 And had it not been for the favour of my Lord, I too had been of those haled forth (to doom). 57 (Allah informs about that true believer that he said): "Are we then not to die (any more)? 58 except for our first death? Are we not going to be punished? 59 This is certainly the greatest triumph 60 For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum! 62 We have made this tree a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 Surely it is a tree that-grows in the bottom of the hell; 64 Its spathes are like the prickly pear. 65 So indeed they will eat from it, and fill their bellies with it. 66 Then on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water. 67 Then surely their return is towards hell. 68 They found their fathers erring, 69 yet they run in their footsteps, 70 Most of the ancient people had also gone astray. 71 and We had sent among them Messengers to warn them. 72 See how those who were warned met their end! 73 except for God's sincere servants. 74
