1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather together the evildoers, their wives, and that they were worshipping, 22 "Instead of Allah, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell); 23 and stop them there for questioning: 24 "Why help you not one another?" 25 Nay, but on that Day they would willingly surrender [to God]; 26 And some of them inclined towards others, mutually questioning. 27 They will say: verily ye! ye were wont to come unto us Imposing. 28 They will say: “Nay, you yourselves were not the ones who would believe. 29 We had no authority over you, but you were an insolent nation. 30 So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]. 31 "We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray." 32 On that Day, they will all share the chastisement. 33 Even so We do with the sinners; 34 Verily when it was said unto them: there is no god but Allah, they ever grew stiff-necked. 35 and would say: "Shall we, then, give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" 36 Nay, but he [whom you call a mad poet] has brought the truth; and he confirms the truth of [what the earlier of God's] message-bearers [have taught]. 37 Verily, you (pagans of Makkah) are going to taste the painful torment; 38 You will only be recompensed according to your deeds.” 39 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 40 For them is the sustenance known to Us. 41 Fruits; and they will be honored 42 in the Gardens of Bliss 43 sitting face to face upon couches, 44 a goblet from a spring shall be passed round to them 45 white and delicious to those who drink it, 46 no headiness will be in it, and they will not get drunk thereon. 47 And with them will be chaste females, restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands), with wide and beautiful eyes. 48 (Pure) as they were hidden eggs (of the ostrich). 49 Then they will turn to one another, mutually questioning. 50 One of them will say: “I had a companion in the world 51 who would say: "Are you among the believers (of the resurrection)? 52 That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed?'" 53 And he will reply: 'Are you looking down (into Hell)' 54 So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He saith: By Allah, thou verily didst all but cause my ruin, 56 Had I not the guidance of my Lord, I would certainly have been brought into torment". 57 "Is it (the case) that we shall not die, 58 except for our first death? And shall we suffer no chastisement?'” 59 Indeed, this is the mighty victory, 60 For the like of this, then, let them labour, those who labour [in God's way]! 61 Is such [a paradise] the better welcome - or the [hellish] tree of deadly fruit? 62 Surely We have made it to be a trial to the unjust. 63 Lo! it is a tree that springeth in the heart of hell. 64 The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils: 65 and they eat of it, and of it fill their bellies, 66 Then on top of it they will have a brew of boiling water. 67 Then surely their return is towards hell. 68 Verily, they found their fathers on the wrong path; 69 So in their footsteps they are being hastened on. 70 And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples, 71 We had certainly sent warners to them. 72 Then look how was the end of those who were warned - 73 Not so the chosen servants of God. 74

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
