3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
(In the days of old), Noah cried to Us, and We are the best to hear prayer. 75 And We saved him and his household from the great distress, 76 And made his seed the survivors, 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 "Peace and salutation to Noah among the nations!" 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 81 We then drowned the others. 82 ۞ And, verily, among those who followed his [Nuh's (Noah)] way (Islamic Monotheism) was Ibrahim (Abraham). 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart, 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire? 86 what, then, is your opinion of the Lord of the worlds? 87 He looked up at the stars. 88 and he said, 'Surely I am sick.' 89 But they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)?" 92 Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand. 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?” 95 “Whereas Allah has created you and your actions?” 96 They said, "Let us build a fire and throw him into the flames". 97 And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased. 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 My Lord, give me one of the righteous.' 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 And when he attained to working with him, he said: O my son! surely I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you; consider then what you see. He said: O my father! do what you are commanded; if Allah please, you will find me of the patient ones. 102 Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 You have fulfilled the dream (vision)!" Verily! Thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 105 Indeed, this was the clear trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 and left for him among the later folk 108 Peace be on Abraham. 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good. 110 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 111 And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous. 112 and blessed him and Isaac too: some of their offspring were good, but some clearly sinned against their souls. 113

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
