3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him). 75 We saved him and his family from the great affliction, 76 And made his progeny survive, 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 "Peace be upon Noah throughout all the worlds!" 79 Thus indeed do we reward those who do right. 80 Surely he was of Our believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart, 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 What do you think about the Lord of the Universe?" 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 and said: “I am sick.” 89 And they turned their backs on him and went away. (The pagans thought he would transmit the disease). 90 He then sneaked upon their deities and said, “Do you not eat?” 91 What is wrong with you that you do not speak?" 92 then he turned on them, striking them down with his right hand. 93 So the disbelievers came running towards him. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 "While Allah has created you and what you make!" 96 They said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 But whereas they sought to do evil unto him, We [frustrated their designs, and thus] brought them low? 98 Abraham said: “I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 “My Lord! Give me a meritorious child.” 100 (In response to this prayer) We gave him the good news of a prudent boy; 101 And [one day,] when [the child] had become old enough to share in his [father's] endeavours, the latter said: "O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice thee: consider, then, what would be thy view!" [Ishmael] answered: "O my father! Do as thou art bidden: thou wilt find me, if God so wills, among those who are patient in adversity!" 102 When they both agreed and Abraham had lain down his son on the side of his face (for slaughtering), 103 We called unto him, 'Abraham, 104 Of a surety thou hast fulfilled the vision. Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 105 Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial 106 So We ransomed him for a great sacrifice, 107 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 108 Peace be unto Abraham! 109 That is how We recompense the righteous: 110 For he was one of our believing Servants. 111 We gave Abraham the good news of Isaac, a prophet and a righteous man, 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among the offspring of the two some did good and some plainly wronged themselves. 113
