Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We saved him and his household from the great distress, 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 80 Verily he was of Our bondmen believing. 81 Then We drowned the disbelievers. 82 ۞ Abraham was one of his followers. 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 and when he said to his father and to his nation: 'What do you worship? 85 Why do you solicit false gods instead of God? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 And he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)!" 89 So they turned away from him, and departed. 90 Then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?... 91 What is the matter with you, why do you not speak?” 92 then he turned on them, striking them down with his right hand. 93 Then they advanced toward him, hastening. 94 He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red-hotfire. 97 And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98 He said, 'I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, give me one of the righteous.' 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 When they both agreed and Abraham had lain down his son on the side of his face (for slaughtering), 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 Of a surety thou hast fulfilled the vision. Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 105 That was indeed a clear trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 And We perpetuated (praise) to him among the later generations. 108 "Peace be upon Abraham!" 109 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 110 He was one of Our believing servants. 111 We gave him the glad news of the birth of Isaac, one of the righteous Prophets. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants are some who do good, but some who wrong themselves. 113
