And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
