And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
