Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
